Global technology giant Lenovo was gearing up to launch its powerful, high-end PC gaming brand: Legion. So, with help from our friends at Brand & Deliver, we set about creating a location-based Augmented Reality brand experience at London's Liverpool Street Station.
The body-tracking, gesture controlled interactive AR experience gave people the opportunity to become one of Legion's video game avatars - including a futuristic cyber-soldier, and flying spellcaster, and literally seeing the savageness within.
Results
Intended to shake commuters out of their daily routine, the AR experience used computer-vision technology to perfectly mimic the movements of the person standing in front of the giant screen, giving them full control of the on-screen Legion avatar.
With the experience reaching over 700,000 people, and receiving over 1600 competition entries, one thing was clear; when it came to brand engagement, this experience stood head and shoulders above the rest.
